I just remember running through a forest and holding your hand. We were both running together and suddenly we heard a noise and stopped. We found a place to hide and then it was quiet and we were there still. We were holding eachother and waited but it staid quiet. And then some kissing and touching happened...
I opened my eyes and found myself with a group of people in an area covered by a large glass dome, very, very vast. Outside, there was a dark, green, purple, and deep-colored smoke, as if a poisonous gas leaked. On closer inspection, there were vague shapes, neither human nor non-human, moving through the mist.
Leader: 'Before the great explosion, I established this place, selecting the most ordinary and pure-hearted people to sleep here until awakening. To continue civilization, life, build cities, nations, and become legends. The great explosion is a cyclical event, and it will come again. Before the next arrival, one of us or some of us must complete my work. If I am still alive, we will collaborate in silence. The next generation and some of us may relive the present, if lucky, in our lifetime, experiencing the indescribable impact again.'
I knew I was ordinary, and everyone who survived was ordinary, even self-doubting. There was an error in the system, selecting a group of us who didn't meet the requirements.
I remember the leader taking us to a glass monument, and someone tried to rush out, perhaps for a fight.
'They are like corpses reborn after decay, consuming your blood and flesh. You will be assimilated or killed.'
As far as I know, no one has tried to go out again.
The leader is a mature, experienced middle-aged woman, as if she has experienced the great explosion countless times. She said, 'I chose you, not to choose those 'smart' and 'elite' individuals, not to choose those who succeed everywhere. Countless experiences made it clear to me that inheritance requires simplicity, purity, and kindness. Inheritance should not be a competition, not for capital, interests, not for business acumen. I need the most ordinary, the purest and pure-hearted people who can think, discern, analyze, but not be proud, selfish, or self-serving. I need individuals like you who can understand my meaning, stand with me in a position and perspective. We can discuss, deny, affirm each other. I need the assistance of the pure power to inherit and pass on what I believe is my mission.'
I remember we built a similar large glass dome in another place, moved in, and left the old dome that could no longer withstand the great explosion. The dome that held all our memories. Luckily, we experienced the great explosion, even under the protection of the huge glass dome. We saw, with our own eyes, the dense fog, the sparks, the eruptions, and attacks. We personally felt the earth-shattering earthquakes, were shaken, and until the last moment, we fell asleep. Whether inside the hibernation pod.
Then, I remember, we woke up again.
