Chat GPT is smart and useful than most humans, however, it does have some challeneges that might stop it from growing or even exisiting. Firstly, there’s the problem of advertisments. Search engines usually make money from advertisments. However, in Chat GPT, the AI only gives us one and only one answer, which rases the question of who should be the one. It could also raise moral questions. If the answer pops up is the one who gave the most money, then it might not even qualify the conditions the user is asking for. For an example, if the user is asking for a hosipital and Chat gives the one who had payed them the most, then it would be bad morally. Secondly, Chatbots are super confident in their answer whether it’s right or wrong. Unlike search engines, who will direct users to other authorized pages. Chat isn’t so much a search engine, it is more of a writing bot which helps users summarize information. Lastly, Chat is biased. Since it only scanned the internet and has no thoughts of its own, it will lean toward whatever side that has the most amount of articles. That provides poor results. Overall, these challenges are intense and Chat might have to figure out a way through.
